Learning Lunch: Words Matter

With Shruti Patel vom Nadel, ETH Zürich, we shall reflect on the role of word choice in the field of global development. We will explore how language shapes perceptions and practices, and how it can contribute to the creation of hierarchies and divisions. During the workshop, a draft glossary of decolonial language is presented, and participants are invited to debate and reflect on controversial terms.
